B:SM's network of electric-charging points, Endolla Barcelona, continues to grow. During the first half of this year, usage has increased by almost 48% compared to the same period last year. This increase confirms the upward trend of previous months and constitutes an all-time high since the service was launched.
Between January and June 2022, Endolla Barcelona recorded 48,800 electric vehicle recharges, compared to 33,000 in the first half of last year. This is 8,100 monthly recharges, on average, which is the highest figure recorded to date.
These uses have led to the supply of 479,000 kWh, 87% more than in the first half of 2021. The increase was mainly noticeable in the number of electric car charges in the street, which was 50% higher than in the same period last year.
The number of users of the Endolla Barcelona network also continues to grow. It currently has more than 12,900 users, more than double the number of users in June 2021. In fact, there has been a 139% increase.

More availability and more charging points

During the first half of this year, charging point availability also increased from 93 to 98%. This improvement was achieved by reinforcing preventive maintenance tasksand was accompanied by the installation of five new on-street charging points. Before the end of the year, a further fifty will also be installed in B:SM car parks.
