On June 18th, the Plan Moves II was approved with the aim of promoting sustainable mobility and renewable energy to reduce CO2 emissions and adapt mobility to the current situation derived from the COVID- 19 crisis.
This new program is an adaptation of the Plan Moves that was presented in 2019 and it has changes, such as, for example, the expanded collaboration with City Councils so that they can adapt to new mobility needs. This new program also offers a bigger budget to incentivize the purchase of sustainable vehicles.
Who is the Plan Moves II intended for?
The grant is intended for individuals, self-employed professionals, private companies, local entities and public entities and administrations. Companies may apply for a grant for a maximum of 30 vehicles.
What types of vehicles can benefit?
All pure, hybrid and fuel cell electric vehicles whose amount does not exceed 45,000 € (cars, vans, trucks, buses, minibuses, motorcycles and quadricycles).
Which is the amount of the grant?
The amount of the grant of the Plan Moves II is different according to the type of vehicle and its autonomy. For example, for the purchase of an electric car, users can benefit up to € 5,500 € and electric motorcycles have grants up to 750 €.
If I apply for the grant, do I need to return my old vehicle?
It is not necessary to scrap the vehicle. If it is delivered, the incentive may amount to 1,500 € in case of a pure electric, or up to 2,600 € if the range of the hybrid is between 30 and 90 km.
