Electromobility is changing the way we get about; one of the best options is to get an electric motorcycle, which, due to its size and accessibility, is a good means of sustainable transport.

What are the main advantages of riding electric motorcycles?

E-motorcycles don't make much noise or emit polluting gases. They therefore help to reduce atmospheric and noise pollution, which is one of the main causes of stress for the residents of big cities.
These days, the electric motorcycles on the market have smaller batteries with greater capacity, power and autonomy. They are a major factor for reducing noise and air pollution in big cities.
They can use the VAO [High Occupancy Vehicle] lanes, they qualify for tax breaks and on purchasing an e-motorcycle you can get subsidies of up to €1,300 and free registration, because they are low-emission vehicles with a “0” DGT label.
Mechanically speaking, e-motorcycle engines are simpler than combustion engines, so maintenance is easier, cheaper and less frequent.

Discover recharging points for electric motorcycles on the Endolla network

You’ll find Schuko connectors for recharging your electric motorcycle on the Endolla network. Check our map of recharging points, where you’ll find 124 points providing service in streets and 238 providing service at 40 B:SM car parks.
The maximum power of this type of connector is 3.6 kilowatts, and by recharging using the Endolla network, an electric motorcycle can obtain enough energy to provide autonomy of 50 kilometres in two hours.
Take a look at our map and choose the point that is most convenient for you, on the street or in B:SM car parks.

The battery stations at BSM car parks

To facilitate travel for users of electric motorcycles, since October 2023, Barcelona de Serveis Municipals (BSM) has launched a dual pilot program with Silence and SEAT MÓ to offer a network of battery swapping stations for electric motorcycles.
The project, which is another way of promoting sustainable and planned urban mobility, is being carried out in the BSM Cotxeres de Sarrià, BSM Pl. Navas and BSM Gràcia Motos car parks, where battery swapping stations have been installed for these two brands’ electric motorcycles, which use the same removable batteries.
At these battery swapping points, users of these vehicles who are registered in the shared battery system (Silence) or who have rented a motorcycle (SEAT MÓ) can take a charged battery and leave the depleted one, thus avoiding the waiting time for recharging.
